DESCRIPTION:Koninginnedag was altijd al een rare feestdag. Wij Nederlanders
  zetten onze zooi op straat om dit vervolgens aan andere mensen te verkope
 n en kinderen zetten zichzelf voor paal door op een instrument te spelen\,
  terwijl ze totaal geen talent hebben. Als toeristen dan vragen wat er wor
 dt gevierd\, wordt er geantwoord dat het de verjaardag van de koningin is.
  Of eigenlijk dat de koningin in januari al jarig was en dat het de verjaa
 rdag van de moeder van de koningin is. Helaas was de laatste Koninginnedag
  twee jaar geleden\, omdat Willem heeft besloten wel zijn verjaardag op de
  dag zelf te willen vieren. Dit leed tot grote verwarring. Op voormalig Ko
 ninginnedag liepen in Amsterdam toeristen rond die zich afvroegen waar all
 e feestjes waren\, om er volgens achter te komen dat ze twee dagen te laat
  waren (Koningsdag viel vorig jaar op een zondag en is toen verplaatst naa
 r de maandag). Voor al deze toeristen en natuurlijke alle andere mensen ho
 uden we daarom op 30 april de: Ik mis Koninginnedag spelletjesavond. Op de
 ze avond zullen we bordspellen spelen om de sfeer rond Koninginnedag er ee
 n beetje in te houden. Dus trek allemaal je oranje T-shirt aan en geef je 
 op.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nQueensday always was a weird Dutch holiday. We Dutch peo
 ple put our trash outside trying to sell this to other people and childern
  made a fool of themselves by trying to play an instrument\, without havin
 g any talent for it. If tourists asked what we were celebrating\, we answe
 red that it is the birthday of the queen. Or actually\, the queen's birthd
 ay was in Januari and we were celebrating the birthday of the mother of th
 e queen. Unfortunately\, the last Queensday was already two years ago\, be
 cause the new king decided to celebrate his birthday a couple days earlier
 . This led to great cunfusion. On former Queensday\, tourists were wanderi
 ng around in Amsterdam untill they found out that they were two days late 
 (Kingsday was on a Sunday last year\, so it was moved to the Monday). For 
 all these tourists we organize the I mis Queensday board games night. This
  evening we will play board games to keep up the spirit of Queensday. So p
 ut on your oranje shirt and register below!
